Stoke City Football Club Community Trust is looking to recruit a number of apprentices to support the communities that we work with.

We are looking for young, dynamic people who are committed to making a difference in the communities that we work with which includes schools, youth organisations and many of the local priority populations. Projects include: 

• School sport programmes including Premier League Primary Stars

• Football based activities

• Outreach & Youth Engagement projects including Premier League Kicks

• Female only activities 

• Disability and Inclusion programmes

• Health & Wellbeing programmes

• Education & Lifelong learning

• Match day activities

• Sports related administration

You will be representing a professional Football Club which aims to make a positive difference to the lives of children, young people and adults in the city of Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and South Cheshire area. 

For this purpose we are currently looking to recruit Community Apprentices which will result in successful applicants being provided with opportunities to develop their skills in a sports setting and customer facing role. An apprenticeship will consist of:

• Initial 1 year appointment combining work base learning with an NVQ Level 2 Qualification.

• Gaining a variety sports/youth engagement related qualifications during the programme.

• Developing skills and competencies to help deliver a variety of activity sessions.

• Developing planning, administration and evaluation skills to fulfil the role.

• Building confidence in working as an individual and a team in representing a major local brand.
