Research on employer National Insurance contribution relief for employees under 21 and apprentices under 25

Research on employer National Insurance contribution relief for employees under 21 and apprentices under 25

During April and May 2018 HMRC will work with independent research agency Kantar Public. They will carry out research with employers of staff aged 21 or younger and apprentices under 25 years old. The research will look at employers’ views and experiences of applying National Insurance contribution (NICs) relief.

Kantar Public and HMRC will send a joint letter to a sample of customers. This will display the logos of both organisations, inviting them to take part in the research. A contact name at both Kantar Public and at HMRC will be on the letter. Customers can contact them if theyneed more information about the research or would like to opt-out from taking part.

If you’ve received an invitation and don’t want to take part in the research, phone or email Kantar Public with your name and the reference at the top of the letter.

If you would like to take part, you don’t have to do anything.
