One year on and it’s clear the Apprenticeship Levy is one of the most reformatory education and skills policies in the history of efforts to tackle the UK’s persistent productivity challenge.

Join us for a discussion on the progress of Apprenticeships, one year on since the introduction of the Apprenticeship Levy. The Chief Executive of the Institute for Apprenticeships (IfA), Sir Gerry Berragan will outline what issues have occupied the IfA over the previous year and set out the priority areas of action in the coming months ahead.

Sir Gerry will then join a panel of employers and apprentices to discuss the inaugural edition of the 2018 Apprenticeships Anthology, published by Queen Mary University of London in partnership with The Good Schools Guide.

This annual publication will pull together key reflections from the past year and aspirations for the future, with 2018 contributions including Anne Milton (Minister of State), Anthony Jenkins (Chair of the IfA), Sue Husband (Director of the National Apprenticeship Service), Jules Pipe (Deputy Mayor of London), CBI, HEFCE, OFSTED, UCAS, UVAC, various businesses, training providers, apprentices and many more!

Free copies of the publication will be provided to all event attendees with digital copies available after the event. Breakfast pastries will be served on arrival and the event will be followed by networking over tea and coffee.
