The skills, capabilities and experiences of our employees are essential for making us the kind of companies we want to be. How many times are you thinking “I just can’t get the kinds of employees that I want”?

We want employees that can help us to deliver the best services and products. Our employees are also looking to develop themselves. Where you can give them a chance to develop there can be mutual gains for both parties.

Join us for breakfast and networking and find out more.

Positive Partnerships for Change is an EU-sponsored project led by Birmingham City University. The purpose of the project is to promote partnership working amongst public and private organisations, to support the most vulnerable young people succeed and build their own social and cultural capital. The aim of the project is to provide resources for current Vocational Education Training (VET) providers and employers who are interested in implementing apprenticeships and other training placements for the most vulnerable young people in our society.

One of the key project areas is an open access online handbook, designed to answer questions employers might have about the nature of vulnerability and how they can access information to support vulnerable employees. The handbook is designed to be a ‘living’ resource that will adapt and grow to support employer requirements.

Benefits to Business include:

  • Access to an online handbook answering your concerns about the nature of vulnerability
  • An opportunity to access information to enable you to support vulnerable employees
  • An opportunity for you to have an input into the development of the resource
