Full Time / Permanent Role
Salary: From £32,000 to £35,000 (Negotiable)

V Selective are recruiting on behalf of a Birmingham based organisation who provide high quality training, that includes Apprenticeships, and other programmes accredited by the CIH and ILM.  
They currently have a new exciting vacancy for a Training and Apprenticeships Manager to join and lead Training team.

Job Purpose:

  • To develop and manage the delivery of high quality training programmes, accredited qualifications and apprenticeships on a commercial basis. 
  • To manage lead the training team, including associate trainers.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead the planning, development, delivery and monitoring of apprenticeship and other programmes, ensuring that the curriculum is delivered efficiently and effectively 
  • Provide leadership for employer engagement, ensure effective and efficient budget control and develop an effective overview of the targets for income generation and learner outcomes
  • Develop a culture of continuous improvement and ensure that learner success rates and experiences are of the highest possible standard
  • Management and, where required, delivery of the IQA and EQA processes.
  • Ensure data management systems are fully utilised, accurate and up to date, including the DAS and ILR systems.
  •  Oversee the Apprenticeship QIP and SAR process.
  • To gain and maintain appropriate levels of accreditation for all courses with relevant accrediting bodies.
  • Manage all quality inspections from external agencies (e.g. Ofsted / ) ensuring that all staff involved are prepared for inspections

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience of running apprenticeship programmes
  • A strong understanding of compliance
  • Experience of working in partnership with other organisations 
  • Assessment & Verification qualifications - e.g. TAQA, A1, D32/D33, V1, IQA award
  • Knowledge of the CIH (Chartered Institute of  Housing) and ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) accreditation regimes would be useful
