We are revolutionising the way apprenticeships are delivered. Through our vast experience in delivering distance learning to over 30,000 learners a year, we are ready with a unique delivery model for Apprenticeships, bringing both greater flexibility and efficiencies to the Apprentice and the employer.  

Our curriculum scoping model sets out the journey that individuals will take offering full flexibility in our approach.  Our blended learning approach across all of our Apprenticeships allows the flexibility to be able adjust the delivery model in line with the organisations or learners needs.

Our bespoke approach to Apprenticeships is employer-led, offering the freedom to develop individualised standards for learners based on identified skills and labour market demands within the local area. Within a challenging labour market, we acknowledge that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to training and upskilling. We will work with the employer to increase skills and knowledge, fill identified skills gaps, and upskill current staff to support them with career development. 

With the ability to implement CPD’s at no additional cost, we can enhance the apprenticeship delivery model and further upskill the learner.   These have been specifically selected against each standard to be implemented with an apprentices off the job hours and can also be utilised as extra content and linked to the development of the underpinning knowledge, skills and behaviour. 

The following provides an overview of what we believe makes The Skills Network apprenticeship delivery unique:

1.      Collaborative, ambitious Curriculum Scoping Exercise has been introduced to ensure Apprenticeship Standards are decoded and personalised for each Employer (before an apprentice starts learning). Proper partnership working to ensure strong and effective curriculum intent.

2.      Bespoke English and Maths delivery team to ensure the delivery of English and Maths is high quality, effective and integrated in all aspects of the apprentice journey.

3.      Development of flexible, high quality Off the Job training solutions through either our e-learning resources and/or field based trainers to ensure Off the Job can be delivered remotely in the workplace (which prevents the need for employers to lose their employee as a result of face to face block release/day release).

4.      Dedicated and continuous Trainer Development Programme to ensure that the knowledge, skills and behaviours of our trainers contributes to the delivery of high quality TLA (including the introduction of a dedicated TLA Quality Leads/Coaches) 

5.      Strong relationship with our End Point Organisation in the aim to ensure that the overall progress and success of our apprentices is high (engagement from Curriculum Scoping Exercise).

6.      Clear, ambitious and modern Apprenticeship Delivery Model (TSN Way) which defined expected professional and performance standards throughout each step of the apprentice journey.

7.      Implementation of Learning Support Advisors who will provide dedicated and responsive pastoral support for each apprentice to ensure learning, progress and progression is accelerated and enhanced.
