With apprenticeship frameworks switching off in July, you and your teams may be making the transition to standards for the first time. For most, this will mean a considerable change to your role…
You will need to design training plans and delivery to meet the requirements of apprenticeship standards and the employer. You will need to integrate new assessment methods, introduce the concept of grading, and prepare apprentices to meet the gateway and undertake end-point assessment.
Back by popular demand, this five-part series will guide you through the end-to-end process of your new role, what is required from you at each stage, and equip you with tools and resources to prepare and deliver standards:
1. Setting up the apprenticeship (Monday, 10 August – 9.30-10.30am)
2. Developing individual training plans in-line with the standard (Wednesday, 12 August – 9.30-10.30am)
3. Integrating assessment into the on-programme phase (Friday, 14 August – 12.30-1.30pm)
4. Working with grading (Monday, 17 August – 9.30-10.30am)
5. Preparing your apprentice for the gateway (Wednesday, 19 August – 9.30-10.30am)
You can book onto the whole series for £195 (+VAT). This includes 5x live 1-hr webinars (with Q&A), webinar recording, slides and supporting tools / resources.
Can’t make one of the dates? Register anyway and we’ll send you the recording and materials.
Here’s what previous delegates said:
“This was by far the best support I’ve received! Chris was incredibly confident, professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Although there was a great deal to get my head around and I realised that I’m further away than I thought, SDN made it all seem achievable.”
Who are these webinars for?
The webinar series has been designed for front-line apprenticeship staff (tutors, trainers, assessors, teachers, lecturers, coaches, mentors) who have recently started, or are about, to deliver apprenticeship standards.
Facilitators and speakers
The series will be facilitated by Chris Cherry, an SDN expert in apprenticeship on-programme training and end-point assessment. Chris has been heavily involved in the development of new standards and assessment plans, as well as supporting hundreds of apprenticeship staff to prepare for their changing role.
Why an SDN webinar series?
SDN has directly supported 5,000 apprenticeship staff, from 1,000 organisations, to prepare to deliver apprenticeship standards and end-point assessment. We’ve also worked closely with over 80 of the trailblazer employer groups, giving us a unique insight into what is required.
