Observation & Moderation Training - Apprenticeships

Observation plays a pivotal role within the quality of teaching, learning and assessment to ensure that all learners are receiving a high standard of education which will enable them to progress in life, learning and work.  A strong observation system provides a secure platform to build effective support and CPD for teachers, contributes to an accurate SAR and QIP, as well as tracking and monitoring of learners to name a few.

The OTLA & Moderation Training day will be held on WYLP premises on the 16th May with lunch provided. .

Outcomes:

• Compile detailed notes from an evidence base.
• Triangulate notes to form judgements.
• Judge impact of teaching and learning against the CIF.
• Validate a variety of reports and grades.
• Provide feedback on observation reports.
• Action plan for improvement following moderation to improve teaching, learning and assessment
