Three months in and so far unimpressed by the quality and quantity of teaching due to it always being so brief, no more than 30 minutes per month. The course structure seems to be getting dragged out on tasks and we have yet to do a manual calculation relating to Payroll. The tutor simply reads a powerpoint, I think we are capable of doing that without a tutor. In her defense she always responds quickly to any queries , is very knowledgeable on the topics we do discuss and is a very likable lady. I feel we need more tutoring and less time spent on coursework.

I think the teaching sessions are good, I preferred the smaller groups as i feel like there was more detail and we are able to ask more questions but understand why there is now bigger classes so cant complain. However i feel like the tasks are very vague. I would prefer to have a more specified criteria of what to complete in the tasks and what units we have to cover. I would also prefer to have more criteria of my work. For example if my research was good, why? or where i can improve. More importantly I still have no idea about the end point assessments and how to prepare for them. What is incorporated in the professional discussion and how can i practice them.

Vicky has supported me throughout my apprenticeship. There were times when I thought of giving up but she was there encouraging. I was not familiar with computers and she helped me through. She never gave up on me. She was always cheerful and she has so much knowledge that I have taken on board. I would not have done it without her. Thank you Vicky so very much.

I have thoroughly enjoyed learning with Smart, my assessor was extremely helpful, patient and always responded quickly to any questions or assistance I needed. I would defiantly recommend this training to my friends, family and colleagues.

I am coming to the end of my course and found the help and understanding of all the assessors that i have had has been brilliant. Even with covid 19 they have always kept in touch to help keep me on track. I'm not the easiest person to teach but Gail and Claire took on this mamoth task and really helped push me towards my end goal. Thank you for all the help and pushing me towards what will definitely improve my ability to move forward in my current role

Just started Operations Department Manager level 5 course. It has been a while since I last learnt something due to work and travel commitments. Thus far, Smart Training for me has been an incredible help in getting the grey matter working.

Fantastic support offered by Nichola. Always at the other endmof the phone for any help needed, and always ensures she has time for everyone which is fantastic. Excellent at explaining work and offering guidance. Very patient and gives excellent feedback and confidence.

I have found the overall experience, so far, really positive. Claire is very approachable and supportive. She explains things very clearly and is always open to my questions and comments. Claire really seems to know her stuff and tailors the lessons to my way of learning, to make sure I am taking everything in. I am enjoying the course and didn't realise how much I had to learn!
